"Very Good"
Lovely location on the sea front and very convenient for exploring the town and nearby gardens. Old world charm with a lot of history We had a large family room over looking the sea. This gave us plenty room but some of the smaller rooms did look a bit cramped. Staff very friendly and helpful Restaurant adequate Check out is at 10am but they are very willing to store bags until departure.

Ishaq who was the waiter was very friendly and nice and looked after us. We had a long Safari prior to our visit and this was the perfect spot to unwind and relax. Good clean room Lovely decor Good breakfast...made even special by the waiters and staff who are very caring and joyful. Enjoyed being looked after by Ishaq and enjoyed his food recommendations. Overall good hotel

I like that it is a historical building. The staff was great and helpful. Because of being at the oceanside and also in the center of Stone Town, it is prefered by lots of tourists. On a sunny and cloudless day you can watch perfect sunset on the beach.

The hotel is in a fabulous location with a beach front and has a nice Zanzibari design. The room was big with high ceiling and bathroom was nice. Staff were warm and helpful.
